About
My Story
Meet Lori Curran
Movement was a constant in my upbringing, there was always a sport to play or watch, or a Sunday walk to go on. In my early twenties I found work and life took over and I moved less but always made time for yoga. There was something about the mat that both simultaneously I would lose and find myself through breathe and movement.
In 2011 I studied a diploma of Remedial Massage. It has been an ongoing exploration of the body since, studying prana, yin and children’s yoga, mindful meditation, fitness and exploring the energetic body through Reiki.
I have worked with Williamstown VFL (mens) team and in clinical settings at Milk and Honey Remedial Massage in West Melbourne, Grace Revolution Yoga & Wellbeing in Collingwood and The Neighbourhood Clinic in Fitzroy North.
I am passionate and curious about bodies and how they work. I love to know the why’s and how’s. I have an active lifestyle whether it be a walk, hike or kicking the ball with my son, I know the pressures of modern day life. I have also learnt the value in taking time for yourself and to reconnect.
I’m a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend to some amazing humans and animals. When I’m not in the clinic or on the mat I enjoy spending time with my people, unless I’m curled on the couch with a book or movie, ‘cos that’s a fav thing of mine to do!
